Plea for Shareholders to conserve water

This notice is intended for the 203 Shareholders who exceeded their entitled amount of 20,000 gallons during the month of July.  LPC has a total of 679 shareholders.  Nearly a third of the shareholders are exceeding their water rights.  The state of Utah is once again in an extreme drought situation and Utah water rights are in the process of being reviewed to ensure water companies are not exceeding their water rights.  For those of you going over your entitled amount during these extreme drought conditions, the company could possibly be mandated to charge a penalty for excessive use.  It's never been more important than now to begin conserving water.  If you are using culinary water for outdoor use, reconsider your landscaping.  Weber Basin water has information on how to conserve through landscaping and water monitoring.  A link is available on this website.  The breakdown of usage is as follows for the month of July:

58 shareholders used over 20,000 gallons up to 30,000,

51 shareholders used over 30,000 gallons up to 40,000,

39 shareholders used over 40,000 gallons up to 50,000,

18 shareholders used over 50,000 gallons up to 60,000,

11 shareholders used over 60,000 gallons up to 70,000,

9 shareholders used over 70,000 gallons up to 80,000,

7 shareholders used over 80,000 gallons up to 100,000,

8 shareholders used over 100,000 gallons up to 200,000,

2 shareholders used between 200,000 gallons up to 252,000 gallons in one month.
