Plea for Shareholders to conserve water
This notice is intended for the 203 Shareholders who exceeded their entitled amount of 20,000 gallons during the month of July. LPC has a total of 679 shareholders. Nearly a third of the shareholders are exceeding their water rights. The state of Utah is once again in an extreme drought situation and Utah water rights are in the process of being reviewed to ensure water companies are not exceeding their water rights. For those of you going over your entitled amount during these extreme drought conditions, the company could possibly be mandated to charge a penalty for excessive use.
