This notice is intended for the 203 Shareholders who exceeded their entitled amount of 20,000 gallons during the month of July.  LPC has a total of 679 shareholders.  Nearly a third of the shareholders are exceeding their water rights.  The state of Utah is once again in an extreme drought situation and Utah water rights are in the process of being reviewed to ensure water companies are not exceeding their water rights.  For those of you going over your entitled amount during these extreme drought conditions, the company could possibly be mandated to charge a penalty for excessive use.  It's never been more important than now to begin conserving water.  If you are using culinary water for outdoor use, reconsider your landscaping.  Weber Basin water has information on how to conserve through landscaping and water monitoring.  A link is available on this website.  The breakdown of usage is as follows for the month of July: 58 shareholders used...

 Two Board members were up for re-election unopposed.  All votes cast and counted during the May 6, 2025 meeting were in support of Matt Bailey and Ed VanDyke remaining on the Board.  Thank you to all the Shareholders who attended the meeting.  The LPC Board appreciates your support.

The Liberty Pipeline Company's Annual Shareholder's Meeting has been scheduled for May 6, 2025, to accommodate all members of the board and guest schedules.  The meeting will be held at the Eden Bowery from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm. Please join us to stay informed of the progress being made to improve water sources and upgrade infrastructure, lead & copper rules, back flow prevention requirements, spring water runoff, conservation, moratorium updates, and financial status.   Two Board members are up for re-election.  The LPC Board requested resumes from Shareholders who wanted to serve on the Board, however none have been received.  If you have an interest in serving your community by serving on the Board or volunteering on specific topics, please let us know by submitting an email through this website.

The transmission line is installed.  Fire hydrants have been connected to the new line which will remain active all winter. All road crossings have been paved and the trench along the roadways has been repaired.  Construction on the booster pump station will take place as soon as possible in the spring. LPC would like to thank all of the residents for their patience in dealing with any inconvenience this construction may have caused.  

 LPC is undergoing a major pipeline replacement project which includes adding booster pumps and well refurbishment.  These projects will occasionally require water shut offs which hopefully will not last more than a few hours at a time.  Unexpected water leaks will also create situations that require LPC to shut water off to make the necessary repairs.  It is difficult for our secretary to isolate and determine exactly which shareholders are impacted when this occurs.  Therefore, notifications are not sent out unless she is notified by the maintenance crew of an extended length of time to complete repairs.  LPC does not consist of a full staff of individuals.  This company consists of five board members who donate their time while trying to prioritize between donated hours and other paying job obligations.  We appreciate your patience and understanding of the obstacles the board members face in order to keep this company running.  If you have...

During the Annual 2024 Shareholder meeting those in attendance were informed that LPC requested a rate study be completed by Rural Water to ensure the company can adequately pay for necessary upgrades and repairs.  This resulted in a significant increase to the Shareholders monthly assessment amount.  The Board has tried to keep the water rates low, however, with the Pipeline Replacement Project, necessary to decrease the number of leaks, and the Booster Pump Project, necessary to increase flow to the northern section of the system, we no longer have the ability to keep the low rates in place.  In addition to the expense of necessary repairs and upgrades, LPC has the expense of ongoing Attorney fees in an effort to resolve the lawsuit filed by Arrowleaf LLC involving one of LPCs water sources (the Bailey Tank).  LPC encourages Shareholders to continue their conservation efforts.  The base rate for 20,000 gallons per month has increased to $70.  If more than...
